Laser engraving is a process that uses a beam of light generated and focused in a manner that vaporizes material when focused onto a small area. Lasers can engrave on all types of wood, leather, Corian, acrylic, glass, plastics and coated metals with incredible detail and can cut through some materials

Laser Engraving is usually included in the price of the item.

On Glass items etching is the same as sand carving. A stenciled mask is applied to the piece and then it is
sprayed with abrasive material to cut (etch) the design.

Etching is usually included in the price of the item we sell.

Camera ready artwork is artwork or a logo that is crisp, clean, black & white copy (meaning, not a postage stamp or fax) :-). The principle of "garbage in, garbage out" applies here. If you have poor artwork it takes time to clean up and make acceptable. Therefore, adding extra time and cost to produce the product.

For laser engraving into various products the art file must be in acceptable format to ensure good quality results of the laser engraved images. Because the process for laser engraving and marking is different than a printing process. The art file has different requirements to get good results with laser. Your image printed on a printer may look good but may not be good enough for laser engraving or marking on your product.

Acceptable files are the following include TIFF, BMP, JPG, or other images that are true black and white (not black and white gray scale) with minimum 300 dpi resolution.

Best files are CorelDraw, Al, EPS, SVG, DXF and PDF files created from vector artwork software. All text should be converted to curves or outlines. File that are not high resolution images may need re-designing for it to work.
